Band Camp

Boy have I been busy! Like CRAZY busy. I have been at band camp for like 12 hours last week which SUUUCKKED! I am in colorguard so I gotta be in band camp. Bleh. I love colorguard but I really don't like band camp. We all had to work our butts off. I am glad that is over with.

I went on a date at a bowling alley on Wednesday. That was fun.

And yesterday I went shopping with one of my bffs all over the place cuz it's tax free weekend! I am hoping to go shopping even more today!

When I was in band camp the second week I left early 1 day becuz I had American Idol concert tickets!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING! I think I made eye contact with Aaron! YAY! Me and my sister had seats like right beside the stage! A couple of my friends were there too, 1 of them was a few rows below us in the same section. My other friend was waaaaay across and far away from me but we saw each other cuz she was wondering if it was me that was flailing about and cheering and it was so I got her to jump up and down and I spotted her! Overall it was awesome.

Rant of the Week: People HAVE GOT TO stop talking about back to school blah blah blah. It is so annoying!

Rave of the Week: My Nana went to the swimming pool with us yesterday! She got to watch me play basketball and do tricks off the diving boards; not to mention try one of my nachos ahaha!

Babysitting!

Hello! Whats up?

I have been very busy. 1 thing that would be part of that was that I was babysitting an adorable 1 year old last week. I think I will again this week. I hope so. She is so cute! I almost got her to be able to blow bubbles. Like by herself! It was so cute! She just didn't blow hard enough! ADORABLE!

I went to see How To Train Your Dragon with one of my friends last weekend. We went to eat dinner 1st and then went to the movie. It was a lot of fun! :D

I also went to see Oceans with my parents and grandparents last weekend. That was fun. :) I liked the movie better than I thought I would.

There is this really cool website I found from reading in 17 mag. It's called Get Ur Good On. It is about ideas for making your community better, finding ideas for good things to do. I made an account and really like it. You should check it out!

Just About Cake Time!

I am about to eat some cake because I have not had dessert yet and that is what I am hungry for! So yay! But first I am going to make a blog post.

I went to see Eclipse! It was awesome! Much better than New Moon, though New Moon was very good. And Bella has been acting soooo stupid. Edward likes playing things (according to her) "old fashioned" and wait for stuff til they get married and she thinks that is crazy. I think she's crazy! Uh, she is luuucky that he is the way that he is. I mean, COME ON!!!

Anyways, I've got lots of things ahead of me that I am SUPER busy with. So much stuff, that I am not gonna say anything on here til it happens cuz wouldn't it be AWFUL if I jinxed it?!

Happy 4th of July!

Hey y'all! 4th of July is next Sunday! And you wanna know what else is next Sunday? I'm gonna go see Eclipse then!! Well that's my plan. Yay!!!

I like 4th of July. I like the fireworks and stuff lol.

And speaking of fireworks, take a look at my nails!
They are decorated for the 4th. I did them myself. Not with sparkly fancy nail stuff in which I own but stuff from scratch. Sorta. Wanna know how to do it? Of course you do!

Steps for festive nails like mine:

1. Put on a clear coat of polish so the blue doesn't stain your nails, if the blue you are using has done that before.

2. Polish on the blue (after clear is completely dry). You should just need 1 coat, depending on the quality and color.

3. Get some red and white polish, and make little dots with the brush at angles to avoid the dots being too big. Have the dots be in little circle-groups of each other to make the appearance of fireworks.

4. After the polish is dry, top it off with blue sparkle nail polish. Just some kind that is sparkly and bluish.

5. Let dry and ta da! You've got awesome nails that are super festive and 4th of July ready.

Awesome, right? And they look even better in person. You'll love the results.

Rant of the Week: I am super in the mood to watch Glee. It doesn't come on til Thursday though! That is waaaay to late in the week. I'd prefer it come on more than once in the week. Then I'd be spoiled lol.

Rave of the Week: Last Saturday my yearbook staff and me had a car wash fundraiser! It was awesome! I loved holding the signs and shouting to people happily. We washed a bike, police car, and a motorcycle on top of the other regular things we did! It was so fun.

iHola!

Hi!!!!!! Whatsup? Anyways, this has been a busy week. Sunday was fathers day, and we went to ride on my grandparents' boat! I love doing that, and the next time we do it we are gonna ride the tube and water skiis!!!! YAY!!!! I am so looking forward to that.

Earlier this week I had a yearbook workshop to go to. I had a pretty good time I guess considering that I had to wake up at the crack of dawn for it lol. I hate waking up at the crack 'o dawn.

Also, earlier this week it was my Nana's birthday. She got the cutest little yellow cake, and a pretty cookie cake, which was good. Both of which. :)

Rant of the Week: I just had this workshop, and I'll have band camp in late July. I have summer reading assignments also. It is summer people! I wanna break! COME ON!!!!!

Heyyyyy!

Hiya! I was gonna title this blog, 'Hey Y'all!' but I have already done that like twice lol.

I LOOOOOOVE SUMMER!!! YAY!!!!! I have been having a great time!
So far lately I have mostly been at the pool workin' on my tan, divin' off the boards, swimmin' laps, eatin' nachos having a great time. Today I actually didn't get nachos which is a first. Actually a third or fourth cuz I have been good sometimes. Lol I'm a regular. One day I went up and said "I'm NOT getting nachos today." Then I went back and said, "I changed my mind" and they knew what I wanted! Hahaha!

On Saturday I went to the pool, my Nana's house, and my Great Aunt's house.
One of my other Great Aunts came over yesterday for supper. She took me and my sister to the grocery store so we could buy some supplies to make smores!!! THOSE WERE AWESOME! That was nice. And me, my sister, and my Mama went to the pool before that also. So yeah.

Today I went to the pool. Later on when my sister was at her swim team practice me and my daddy washed my dogs and then took them on a walk. Ellie loooooved being clean after she was done getting her bath. Delia was sorta indifferent lol.

Rant of the Week: Some of my friends don't like to swim. I just don't get it.

Rave of the Week: I found some money in one of my purses that I totally forgot about yesterday!!! Yay! I love doing that!

Anyway though, lets see what I have done recently.

On Friday, me and my mama took one of my big dogs to get her groomed. That was fun, but it took fooooorrrreeeeevvvveeerrrr. Lol it really did. Like 3 hours. It was fun though. She is such a cute dog with her new trim. More like shave. I might have to take pics.

Yesterday, the pool opened!!! And so of course I was there. I got nachos! And swam a bunch. It was wonderful! Then later I went to my Nana's house and then to the hospital to take my great aunt a balloon. She is recovering from surgery.

Today I went to the pool again! The only annoying part is that the weather sorta sucked. After that I went with two of my friends to the movies!!! We saw Letters To Juliet. It was so awesome!!!!! I loved it. Afterwards one of my friends won a stuffed bear out of the crane machine. Lol. We had a great time.

So as you can see I have been super busy lately. It has been loads of fun and I have had a great time. I can't wait for tomorrow as I have lots to do then to, and will give updates on.

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!

Yes! It's mine!!!! Well, in variation. I'm a fill in. YAY!!! That is close to an actual part time position. I just don't get to have it. This is because the lifeguards of last year get the opportunity before anyone else to work there each year. Everyone came back so there wasn't space for me to have a full job. Oh well. This prepares me for next year, and I think I'll have a blast this year! YAY!!!!!!

Well, Lee DeWyze won American Idol. Oh wellz. I didn't really care of the two, Crystal and Lee who won. I guess I will take down my poll now. It's funny: Katie, Lee, Andrew, Casey, and Big Mike have zero votes. Siobhan, Crystal, and Tim each have 1 vote. Aaron has 3 votes from my poll. Oh yeah!

Anyways, I am TOTALLY enjoyin' my summer!!!! I'm livin' it up! Yes! I am hoping to have a cook out soon. And the pool opens this Saturday!!!!! I'm stoked!!! Yay!!!! Can't wait for the blast I am gonna have this season! YEAH!!!!

Rant of the Week: Me and my Nana made chocolate pie yesterday. We have eaten it all, and it'd be nice to have some more. Lol

Rave of the Week: I have had some crazy bad mosquito bites and poison ivy on my legs and they have been botherin' me for FOREVER!!!! But now they are healing and about gone so yay!!! Hahaha!

Colorguard!!!

Yay! I made it in colorguard!!!!! Yay!!!! I am so excited!!!! I passed the audition!!!!! HIP HIP HOOOOOOORAY!!!!!! This is so awesome!!! I am so happy!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Also I got an award! "Outstanding Achievement in Algebra"! I'm a smartypants haha! Lol.

AND tomorrow is the last day of school!!!!!! YES!!!! I AM SO EXCITED AND READY!!!!!! It's about time!!!!!!

Anyways I am on yearbook too, and am currently selling ads. So yay me! I think it is fun! And there will be several car washes to raise money for the yearbook too which will be awesome! So yay!!!!!

And can you BELIEVE it?!?! Aaron Kelly got voted off of American Idol!!!! NOOOOO!!! That is crazy! He should have won!!! Other than Casey, the rest really aren't that great. Oh well. THE TOP TEN TOUR IS THIS SUMMER!!!! And can you guess who's gonna be there? MEEEEEEEE!!!!! YAY!!!!! I bought tickets!!!!! And everyone in the top ten will be there, which includes Aaron. YAY!!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM LIVE!!!!

Rant of the Week: I have 3 reading assignments for over the summer for honors English next school year. I feel that it is not something that I am needing to do. I am in HONORS English, and I love to read. Lemme rephrase that. I love to read many books that I choose on MY own time. Not ones that will be due a certain day. Yuck. That is annoying! People in regular English are the ones that need this assignment. I intend to spend some of my free time reading, and this is not something I can do now due to this assignment in which I have to do lots of work on. People in honors English most likely actually like to read. They don't need assignments to interpret literature. People in regular English most likely don't like to read. This is not true for all of them but it has got to be for a great many. They don't get these stupid reading assignments. They are the ones that ACTUALLY need the assignment because they sure wont read on their own. Honors kids do. So there.

Rave of the Week: It is about time for the boss of the lifeguards at my local pool to call me to schedule an interview! I really want the job and am so close to getting it!!! I just have to do great at the interview and keep it up if/when I get the job. I can't wait!!!! YAY!!!

Full Week

Hi guys!!!

This week is gonna be soooooooooooo busy. Today I went to dance. Tomorrow I think I am going to go to the movies, plus I have a really big test at school. Wed. my sister's school play is going on. Thurs. is dance again. My recital will be in the very close future too!!! AHHH!!! I can't WAIT! Friday I am actually not doing anything yet as far as I know. I have to be at school too during all this and finals are coming up. I also am going to try-out for colorguard. I am learning the dance routine now. It is really cool!!! I like it so far. I need to check out a flag tomorrow to practice with. I was going to today but I completely forgot. Lol. ALSO.....my Daddy saw the boss of the lifeguards at my pool at work the other day, and he said that he would call me in a couple of weeks to plan a time for an interview!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! I am so excited!!

Ugh I am so busy! But I am happy with all the goings on, and things seem to be working out well so far. Yay!!!

Rant of the Week: I don't think I will be getting Chik-fil-a food for breakfast tomorrow and that is what I really really really have a taste for.

Rave of the Week: I get to learn bunches of different dance routines and such and am super happy to be able to do all of them!!! YAY!

Hey Y'all!!!!!

Hi its ME!!!!! Lol duh. Ugh I am so busy!!! My dance recital is next week, near the end of May I am gonna tryout for colorguard, I need to see about newspaper stuff..... I have yearbook to think about. And I'm waiting to find out if I got the job yet. I really hope so. I mean I already am a trained lifeguard, I just need the job. I am so excited!!!!

Aaron Kelly is in the TOP 5!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! I hope he wins. He is so good. ALSO!!! I am going to try to get tickets for the AMERICAN IDOL TOUR!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! I hope all that works out fine. They go on sale May 15.

End of Spring Break

Blah today is the last day of Spring Break. Its very annoying and is making me mad. I really am glad for the time I had though, it was very nice. I have been very busy lately and have done lots of things this break.

For starters, I went shopping at several different stores as I got a shopping spree! Once on Wednsday, and again on Friday! I also went to Salsarita's to eat, which is my very much favorite restaurant ever!!!!!

I have been so busy. And school is tomorrow which is a big fat pain. Ugggghhhh. Blaaaah. Oh well. I got lots of new outfits and jewelry and makeup to wear tomorrow, which is super exciting. Yay!

Spring Break!!!!!

GUESS WHAT!!!!! IT'S SPRING BREAK!!!! YAY!!!!!

I am so ready! I love Spring Break. Its 'bout time for a break anyway. And since it is Spring, that means that Summer is right around the corner!

So anyway lets see what have I been doin' lately?

I went to a Zumba class on Wednesday, regular dance on Thursday, and then my sister's school's dance party on Friday. And my legs huuuuuurrrt. But it was super fun and I had an awesome time for all of those days. :D

Also, tomorrow I'm planning on going shopping! And then later I'm gonna go see Alice In Wonderland with some of my friends! Yay! I can't wait!

On sadder news, my great uncle died in the hospital. Then again though, it is happy news. He is in Heaven. He was a good Christian, so I know that is where he is. Anyway though, his wife, my great aunt is having a really hard time, so if you guys could be praying for her it would be nice. He was her world.

Yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow only a vision, but today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope...

Turned in My Resume!!!

Hello! I have today turned in my resume to work at my local pool as a lifeguard. I hope I get the job! I am so excited!!! Yay!!!

On other news, I have given out my blog info to my Warrior cat roleplay website, so ya'll can make yourselves at home. And to those of you that did not know yet, my name is Olivia. But to those of you that don't know that that come on here, I am Leafstar to them, so yeah I will probably call myself that too. Lol.

Busy Busy Busy!

Hi Ya'll!!

I am so excited! And overworked! And too busy! Ugh! But it is all very exciting and seems like fun.

Next school year, I already have some plans, but of course they are not set in stone. Well except for the newspaper.

One thing I will be doing which is the most likely to happen as far as I know for everything is to work for the school newspaper. I am going to write some articles, and be the Webmaster! Yay!!!

Another thing I would like to do is work on the yearbook for the art and graphic designs inside of it. Last year they had to hire someone to do that work, and it seems like it would be a whole lot of fun. I was the first to turn in my application, but still have not been interviewed yet. I hope to be soon.

The next thing I want to do next school year is be on the school's Colorguard! EEEEH it seems like lots of fun. Also, lots of people already in it really want me to be on it next year which is AWESOME!!!! Yay!

Also, I am hoping to get the job at my local pool as a lifeguard. I have finished my resume. I sure hope it works out and I can't wait to hear the news!

I have gots me a new poem in theatre arts, and I am not particularly in the mood to memorize it. But I am in the mood to parodize it lol. Anyway, not exactly, but it was about a spider carrying a dead moth. It's called Design, by Robert Frost. Don't get me wrong, I think he is a great poet, but crap I dunno why he talks about spiders. Yuck.

Heres my version of a poem about a spider:

Spiders
I see one creeping, crawling
Down the sidewalk.
Yuck.
It carries with it
Its overfull brain
Plotting its mischevious ways to maneuver
And get away from me.

I chase it with a papertowel.
I squish it up and set it on fire
Or I could use a magnifying glass
And some solar power.

I know I sound like satan.
But think of it as this;
These spiders are gross,
And satanic in their own way.

AWESOME NEWS!!!!

Hi everyone!
Tis been awhile since I've been on here.
Anyway, a couple weeks ago it snowed here, which is awesome.

Now onto some more awesome news, GUESS WHAT!!!!! I'M OFFICIALLY A LIFEGUARD!!!! I passed the lifesaving course! I am so happy! I hope to get a job at my local pool in the summer. IT'S ALL SO EXCITING!!!! :D

Hi Y'all!!!

Hi! So it has been a while since I have been on here. I had a stomach virus last week. Ugh that was awful, I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate throwing up. Like on a top 2 things I hate, it is number 2, and number 1 would be satan. So there. And I am not exaggerating. At least I lost some weight though, that was nice.

EEEEEEEE! Guess what! I have a 4.0, I got all As last semester in school!!!!! YAY!!!!!! I worked really hard for them though, so I wouldn't be happy if I didn't have them. YAY!!

We are now working on recital dances in May. I hope I can do really good in it.

I am going to take my pretest next week for the livesaving course. Oh I hope I do really good on that. If I pass it then I can take the actual course and be an actual lifeguard. I am looking forward to it!!!!

I am happy. I seem to have many new friends, this semester and really this whole school year. I have not been a hermit or anything and have been making lots of new friends and meeting new people; having a good time. Its been really nice.

Rant of the Week: My teeth have been a bit of a pain and I don't really know what to do other than continue to take good care of them.

Rave of the Week: Everything should be ok by March! Its not so so bad but I was tramatized by teeth when I was younger and still had baby teeth because 3 of my front teeth were knocked out from a swing set.
